21st Birthday Commisson Card

How gorgeous is this? I am soooo happy with it. Definately feeling like I've found my mojo again! lol Or it could be that the girls on the Sugar Nellies Facebook Group are incredibly inspiring and helpful (if a little nuts!)

I was asked to create a 21st birthday card by a work collegue. I really hope she likes it. She said it should be trendy and girly so I hope its not too flowery for her..

I also decorated the inside to match, partly because its a special card, but mainly because the front was so heavy it needed a bit of weight at the back for balance.

The photos are a bit dark again. I've tried diferent lighting, perhaps I need a new camera?

The image is a Sugar Nellie stamp called 5th Avenue and I've coloured her in with my ProMarkers and added Glamour Dust to make her dress sparkly.
The backing paper was a freebie from a magazine. The black 'lace' is made using a Fiskars punch and everything else is from my stash.

All comments welcome. Thanks for looking

My 1st Sugar Nellie

Wow! I can't believe its been over a year since I posted on here! Where does the time go???

Well life's had its ups and downs but I have still been making cards in between :D

Here is my latest creation using my 1st Sugar Nellie stamp. Isn't she gorgeous? She is called 5th Avenue from the Simply Sassy collection.

As you may know blue is not usually my thing, but it is this weeks challenge on the Sugar Nellie Facebook group and I thought I'd give it a go. I hope you like it?!

The photos have come out a bit dark so I might try to take better ones later. The image is coloured in with my ProMarkers. The papers are free printables, but I can't find where I downloaded them from sorry. The 'lace' is made using a Fiskars border punch and everything else is from my stash.
