21st Birthday Commisson Card

How gorgeous is this? I am soooo happy with it. Definately feeling like I've found my mojo again! lol Or it could be that the girls on the Sugar Nellies Facebook Group are incredibly inspiring and helpful (if a little nuts!)

I was asked to create a 21st birthday card by a work collegue. I really hope she likes it. She said it should be trendy and girly so I hope its not too flowery for her..

I also decorated the inside to match, partly because its a special card, but mainly because the front was so heavy it needed a bit of weight at the back for balance.

The photos are a bit dark again. I've tried diferent lighting, perhaps I need a new camera?

The image is a Sugar Nellie stamp called 5th Avenue and I've coloured her in with my ProMarkers and added Glamour Dust to make her dress sparkly.
The backing paper was a freebie from a magazine. The black 'lace' is made using a Fiskars punch and everything else is from my stash.

All comments welcome. Thanks for looking

I am entering this in the following challenges:
The Sugar Bowl - Maria Therese's Sketch (without optional blue theme)
Sugar Nellies Facebok Group - use punches(lace border)
Passion For ProMarkers - Divas with Glam & Glitter
Craft Us Crazy - Anything Goes (3rd entry)

  3. I think the 21 year old will enjoy her birthday card and would love to have a dress like that as they seem to like to expose quite a bit of flesh don't they :-)
